F1 & F2 settings explained (temperature sensor control)Updated a month ago
F1 setting:
The F1 setting determines how often your chiller will turn back on after it reaches the set temperature. If your F1 setting is set at 3°F, your chiller will cool to the set temperature, turn off, and start cooling again when the temperature has risen 3°F.
To set this setting follow the instructions below:
In this case if you set the desired temperature at 40°F, and the F1 temperature at 3°F, then your chiller will cool the water to 40°F, then turn off and only start up again when the water temperature rises up to 43°F (40+3°F). If you set the F1 setting to 4, then the chiller would start at 44°F (40+4).
The F2 setting is mainly used for repair and should not be adjusted. But in case your chiller shows a different temperature on the display than the actual water is, then it could have been set incorrectly and cause the chiller to turn off earlier than it should.
To set this setting follow the instructions below
2. Click the arrow UP button once, you will now see F2 on the display
3. Click the SET button again (do not hold it down this time)
4. A number should appear, this number should always be set at 0 (Fahrenheit) if it isn't already.
The F3 setting is preset at the factory and should only be adjusted if instructed by our team. This setting determines how many minutes the compressor waits before it turns on.
To set this setting follow the instructions below:
2. Click the arrow UP button two times and you will now see F3 on the display
3. Click the SET button again (do not hold it down this time)
4. A number should appear, this number should always be set at 3 (Fahrenheit) if it isn't already.
