How Do I Connect My Chiller 2.0 to Wi-Fi?Updated 4 days ago

Control your cold plunge from your phone by connecting your Chiller 2.0 to the Tuya Smart App.

Follow this guide to get synced in minutes.

Pre-Connection Checklist

  • Check your Frequency: Your chiller requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Most modern routers have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz; ensure your phone is specifically on the 2.4GHz band during setup.

  • Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.

  • App: Download the Tuya Smart App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Enter the Advanced Menu
Turn on the chiller. Press and hold the SET button for several seconds until the advanced menu appears (it will start at P1).

2. Enable Wi-Fi (P5)
Use the Up arrow to navigate through the settings until you reach P5. Select the ON/OFF option and set it to ON. This enables the Wi-Fi internal chip.

3. Confirm Pairing Mode
Look at the chiller display. You should see a small dot near the Wi-Fi icon flashing. This means the chiller is broadcasting a signal and is ready to be discovered.

4. Connect via Tuya Smart App
Open the Tuya Smart App on your phone. It should automatically detect the chiller. If not, click "Add Device." Select the chiller icon.

5. Enter Network Credentials
Enter your Wi-Fi name and password. Double-check that the password is correct, as this is the most common reason for connection failure.

6. Finalize Setup
Once the connection progress reaches 100%, the blinking dot on the chiller display will turn solid. Click 'Done' in the app to enter your dashboard.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Blinking Stopped? If the red dot stops blinking before you finish, the pairing mode has timed out. Go back to P5 and toggle it to ON again.

  • Connection Failed? Ensure your phone isn't jumping back to a 5GHz network or cellular data during the "Searching" phase.

  • Remote Control: Once connected, you can toggle the power, set target temperatures, and lock the display from anywhere in the world!

Still need help? If your app isn't finding the device, try restarting your router and repeating the steps above. If the issue persists, contact us at [email protected].
