What are the sizes of pipes, valves, and fittings?Updated 8 months ago

Our chillers and Pods are designed with standardized sizes to make setup straightforward:

1) Pipe and Hose Sizes:
The drainage spout features a 1/2'' thread, and the hose has a diameter of 3/5''. These dimensions are compatible with most standard fittings and hoses, including a standard garden hose. However, in some cases, an additional adapter may be needed to match your specific hose size.

2) Fitting Set:
The fittings set, which includes all necessary washers (also called gaskets), is included with every chiller purchase. If you need additional fittings or replacements, you can purchase the fittings set separately here.

3) Connecting to a Different Brand Chiller:
If you’re connecting a chiller from another brand to your IcePod and want to ensure compatibility, you can remove the drain valve by unscrewing it counterclockwise (with the IcePod empty). Take the valve to a hardware store to find the right adapter.
