To experience the full health benefits of cold water therapy, it's essential to immerse yourself in water below 59°F for three to eight (3-8) minutes. The effectiveness of cold water therapy depends on finding the right balance between time and temperature, which can vary for each individual.

If you're new to cold water therapy, we recommend starting your sessions at around 59°F. This allows your body to become accustomed to the cold temperature. As you continue using the IcePod, you can gradually lower the temperature and increase the duration of each session. With regular use, you should be able to withstand temperatures below 46°F comfortably.
