Why is the water level in my filter compartment low?Updated 6 months ago

Don’t worry if the water level in your filter compartment drops after use - it’s completely normal! It usually goes down to about 2/3 to 1/4 full and won’t affect performance.

As the filter is used more, its membrane can create additional resistance, which may cause the water level to drop. Rest assured, the water is still being effectively filtered, as it must pass through the filter before continuing through the system. If the water level drops too low, the pump will automatically shut off to prevent any issues.

To keep everything running smoothly, clean your filter regularly and replace it every 30 days. You can find new filters here: 4-Pack Chiller Filters. Plus, save 10% with our subscription service that delivers fresh filters every 4 months!

Quick Tip: If the water level drops below 1/4, check for air leaks by tightening connections, and consider adding Teflon tape if needed. Happy filtering!
